If you are a typical American you are a multi-tasker. Chances are that as you are reading this blog you are also reading e-mails, watching "Days of our Lives," changing the baby, and talking on the phone, while having lunch. Whew! How do we keep up this pace?

No doubt that as you read these blogs you are thinking things like, "I really need to get in to see that Larry guy before my portfolio does a repeat of 2008," or, "if I ever get a day off I'm going to get into NavStar and turn my financial life around." Those feelings are only natural (see The Busy Professional)  and entirely reasonable. Bless your heart. You want to do the right thing....it's just so hard to fit NavStar into your busy schedule.

It's a New World

Today technology allows us to do things that were not possible twenty years ago. Virtual meetings is one of those things. Here are 3 good reasons to take advantage of this service:

1. Scheduling conflicts are minimized

The level of committment when it comes to involvement with a financial planner can vary greatly. My typical session with a client may involve data gathering, or research, or implementation of a plan, or monitoring the plan, etc. Depending on where you are in this process defines how much time you need to spend. It may be hard for you to carve out the time to meet with me. By being able to meet virtually with me it becomes much easier for you to schedule and keep appointments. 

2. Geography is no longer a barrier

You might be reading this blog from your living room in Malibu, California or your sailboat in Key West, Florida. You're thinking, "I'd really like to hear what that good looking Jones guy has to say about my portfolio! But he's in NC and I'm not. Oh, poor wretched me!"

Don't despair Amigo. Using technology, there really isn't anything we can't do over the internet. Webcams allow us to chat as if we're in the same room. Documents can be passed back and forth electronically. It's an amazing new world.

3. Virtual meetings are extremely efficient

Now you can meet with me during your lunch hour at work, or maybe in the evening at your home.  The drive time to our office, and associated expenses are eliminated. How does it work? At your request, we'll simply send you a link that will allow you virtual entry into NavStar. All you have to do is click on the link and we'll take it from there (of course you need a computer with a webcam), with an introductory meeting just to see if we might be a good fit for one another. There's no cost or further obligation involved.

Even though the technology required to pull this off is impressive, from your point of view it's very simple. You don't need any special expertise other than an average level of computer savvy. If you can get along on Facebook you can meet virtually with NavStar financial services.
